After 20 years with the same insurance agent, I decided to see if I was getting a “good deal” on my car insurance. So, I called the agent to say that I thought the premiums seemed a bit high, and was told that in New Jersey car insurance is “expensive.” She didn’t offer to try to shop around for me, or anything else, for that matter.

Well, I am glad that I didn’t accept her “NJ is expensive excuse” and called PMA. With the exact same coverage as on my old policy, your agent looked around to several carriers and subsequently wrote the policy for $600 less per year than my previous agent.
